Ok I'm calmed down now. I really wasn't mad, just aggravated that the same stores get blogged over and over and over again ad infinitum til I'm sick of looking at 'em. And I know a whole buttload of designers that are super talented and never get the time of day. Just my two cents, you don't have to agree. I'm just suggesting some bloggers take of the blinders and step outside the comfort zone. You might like the adventure!
More to come...-grins-

The SL fashion business is pretty competitive these days. Making quality stuff is probably not enough to get noticed, I'd say it takes pretty aggressive marketing unless you're one of those places that somehow everyone knows about.
When it comes to bloggers, I think you get some that mainly blog what they are sent, some that focus a lot on finding new things, and some that mainly blog new releases from their favourite stores. That's generalising a lot, of course, but that's what it looks like to me when I skim through the feed (and I certainly fall into the last category myself).
So one way to get some notice (or so I should think, anyway) is to send review copies to the ones that work a lot off review copies, and to develop relationships with the ones that focusing on mainly blogging their favourites. Might take some digging through their blogs to see what styles they favour.
Its a lot of extra work on top of designing to run a store in SL these days, but I think it is fairly unavoidable.
