Hope

If anything 2009 promises it's hope. I was talking to Yukio the other night and he was grinning ear to ear. Don't ask me how I knew..I just knew from his typing. He told me he had a feeling this would be a great year and you know I've had that feeling myself for the last few weeks. Even with scrambling before Xmas and the stress of work, I just know it's going to get better. That's hope. We have huge governmental changes coming, looking forward to economic turn arounds. Careers are climbing well for me and my friends. I have so many ideas, so many plans. (And my inventory is almost clean lol) My advice for those of you who want to take it...don't sweat the small stuff, compliment someone every day, help when someone asks, don't spread drama, be tolerant but speak up when you see unfairness or hate and always remember things can be much much worse.

Snowball update!

We had a few reports that a two of our participating vendors got a little ummmm carried away and put out multiple copies of the same items in the hunt. SO....we sent those all back and replaced them with Sn@tch, Illuminati & Forsaken items almost all of them FREE. To the person that chastised my models in the store (eyebrow raise) and me in a notecard for something we didnt know about...screw off, you're banned and muted get your freebies elsewhere. To the nice people in plurk who let us know without calling us names so we could fix the problem...you rawk and thanks so much. Now there are 30 more free items in the hunt.

Snowball Hunt @ Pulse!

RIGHT NOW we are having the GREAT PULSE SNOWBALL HUNT over the whole sim. I personally put out 30 snowballs and other stores on sim have hidden even more. Stores included are mine of course, Retox, Illuminati, Forsaken, Bloodlines, [42], Chaos Lotus and soooo many more. There could be hundreds of snowballs by Christmas who knows!.

Most are absolutely free and some have a small price but those are the GOOD ones! My $50 L snowballs have full outfits inside. Come hunt and get some Xmas cheer...we want to share our snowballs with YOU! Psssst, take a look under the tree outside, there are a few things I snuck under there for you too. But I Wanted a Barbie Dreamhouse!

Just had to do one more Bare Rose post. Yukio Ida of Illuminati and I got together last night at my house on Asylum to wear a couple of our fave things from B@R and went for a Snow White and Rose Red look. Yuki is wearing It's Only a Paper Moon and I'm in Baby Rose.



LOL this shoot was just fun! I was wondering why there were holes in that box. Yuki has on Holiday Wrap in Pink and I'm wearing Wastland Cowgirl. Ok I'm calmed down now. I really wasn't mad, just aggravated that the same stores get blogged over and over and over again ad infinitum til I'm sick of looking at 'em. And I know a whole buttload of designers that are super talented and never get the time of day. Just my two cents, you don't have to agree. I'm just suggesting some bloggers take of the blinders and step outside the comfort zone. You might like the adventure!

It is an honor and such a pleasure to be part of this tribute to Bare Rose. The second store I ever went to in SL and the store where I did most of my shopping for the first six months I was in world. Now coming up on my two year rez day, I look back with such admiration and fondness to all the things I learned from this amazing and multi-talented creator. June has been my business model since I began making clothes. Make what you love, dont pidgeon-hole yourself, do as many options as possible, make things transferable and create in abundance at a price everyone can afford. As far as I'm concerned the praise we can give to this fabulous store will never be enough. Thank you...thank you...thank you.

Ivey went to Vegas and all I got was this Lousy Blog Post

I promised you more and I keep my promises.

Probably a good idea that I blog some of my fall things before Xmas lol. The second Cashmere set is all about fall color...again 8 sweaters with a texture changing scarf in lots of stripes, plaids and argyles. Mix and Match all you like...we'll make more -grins-

I love flowy silk and scarves but not like my mom used to wear in the 70s...more glam, more slinky. Starlet is a sweet thick belted pair of pinstriped slacks (yes I used the word my mom uses for pants that aren't jeans) with 6 jewel toned slightly sheer halters and scarf belts. Very rockstar red carpet.

Crazy Little Things V.2 has a brand new hand painted denim skirt in dark blue, faded and black. Very flouncy and "cheeky" with 5 Peasant style tops with light embroidery around the neck and coordinating ruffles in front and back. You can get several great combos from this set and can't beat the price!

The Rocker in Me

At heart I'm a punk chick...always have been, always will be even though now I have to color my hair cause of the stray greys not cause I want to lol. I know a lot of you are feelin' me on that one. When I first started Sn@tch there were very few punk/grunge designers around and lots of my faves are gone now. More have popped up in the past few months and I see FAB potential in the. I'll just keep plugging away making punk clothes I feel hot in. Outfits or seperates...these all make great together looks.

Filthy Rumours is a several piece mix-n-match set of off shoulder thermals, bat belted shorts, fishnets and over the knee sport socks. Several wearing options and just damn sexy and casual.

Also put together a set of several different shorts and tights. They come on a buncha layers so add these to your wardrobe for some cold weather-short wearing FUN. Opaque tights have to be my fave thing in the winter.

I didn't take these off for a week after making em. Really low waisted cheetah pattern pants with studded belt and two layer options for tucking. They come in natural, red and white and believe it or not...animal prints are back! Ok well cool animal prints...not jungle leaves and tiger faces like on my redneck cousin's comforter in the trailer. "Road to Hell" comes with three cropped Jean Jackets too.

Thermals are a basic of my cold weather wardrobe. These are very detailed with a button front and off shoulder sleeves. I made two sets...the dulls and the brights. A ton in each pack and they come in shirt and jacket layers.

Catch up Time

I know you all just love it when I dont blog for three weeks and have to do four posts in two days, dontcha? I'm such a slack blogger that I have to check and see what I blogged last! C'est la Vie...for me anyways. I'm the ultimate procrastinator. So without further adieu (more French from high school) here's the first.

The Hellbilly Suede Jeans are prolly my fave pants next to my latex. I'm a sucker for suede and these look so soft and the butt is very kyoot, plus the flare legs give me that hourglass shape I love. 7 dark rich colors...and kinda low waisted but not too much plumbers butt.

The Sideshow Zips come in a ridiculous amount of colors and patterns, solids, strange mixes and some brights and I've also made roadie zips that come in more muted color combos, In two sets you get 8 Colors each for a really low price.

Had a ton of struggles and some fun making these cropped jean jackets. They come in a pack in dark blue, light and faded & black and opened and buttoned options. Course they go great with everything. A jean jacket is a staple for any wardrobe.

No 2 Alike

So another blog post on the Grid Wide Peace on Earth hunt...are you feigning shock now?
LOL They asked us to blog I swear. I didn't want to -wink-

For my gift...since we were sposed to do a cultural type theme and my X-mas culture consists of the traditional mom, dad & kids around the tree opening presents, eating a ton of food, then singing carols around the piano drunk on spiked eggnog til we pass out, I decided to go a little different and cover a more world view topic. I made some snowflake tattoos and called them "No 2 Alike". With everything we have been through in SL and our real lives over the last year I think its easy to group people into cultural ethnic and sometimes not too nice categories. Whats more difficult is seeing each individual for it's own special difference and beauty. So like snowflakes...we are no 2 alike and together I think we make an amazing landscape. Thats my sappy story.
