You can tell from the head cocked just so, the twisted waist, the instant smile, the jazz hands. We all know 'em, we all have 'em. The *MM* Model Poses 1-17. I think I got these in one of my first freebie boxes back in late 2006. I was like WOOT poses! and tried em all out and took pics with em here and there. Well that was before I saw the other poses an avatar could do and wayyy before I had an AO.

I'm so grateful for gifts from designers like Torrid Midnight. Her store was one of the few places I could afford well made clothes when I first came in world so this isn't meant as a slight to her in the least, but PEOPLE I'm calling for retirement of these poses. Every ad using them that I see come out in fashcon, I flinch now. When I see these in a clothing ad especially on a white BG I think automatically "Business in a Box". It's not that they're horrible poses, just overused! I've actually left stores that have these poses in their ads without even looking at the clothes. I know I know but Iveyyy they're free, some people cant afford poses! Well there are a tonn of great places to get very cheap and free poses in SL you just have to look.

Good poses I know aren't easy to do and the best ones are expensive! I've given a try at some and I'm not great at it, and pose makers like Torrid, Luth Brodie, Dave Bellman of Animazoo, Evangeline Cortez of LAP and Beauvoir Rousselot of Maitreya deserve great props for the work they're doing now...but the time for the *MM* Model Poses 1-17 is past. They have been used, abused and hung up wet people! When I see an ad for a pastel pink ball gown doing the jazz fingers it makes me want to punch the model in the teeth. It's OVER.

Poses can be pricey, especially if you're a pose and animation hoar like me so I wouldnt leave you poseless without some suggestions of replacements. For some great cheapie and free poses check out Sylva Petrov's Animation Factory, Happy Dispatch, Vital Animations has a big freebie set. Join Stella Furkel's group, she's always giving out poses and anims. There's a store called "Stand" by shin Thursday that has $35 L animated AO stands. Izumiya has boxes and boxes of free poses for guys and girls. Torrid even just marked her new fabulous range of poses down from $100 L to $75 L each. There are a ton more too...If anyone out there knows great places to get cheap or free poses throw a comment on here!

Thats my little mini rant for the day. As said before no offence meant to the maker of these poses. I appreciated them when I was a noob and I'm sure some still do, but designers...pass them on to a noob and don't use them in your clothing ads for God's sake, think of the children!

A Bird in Sn@tch is Worth Two in the....hey, wait

Hey I'm doing better at this (she says all proud like) Now lets see if I can get it written and actually published today lol. It's been a lazy week kinda and anyone who knows me knows I'm anything but lazy. I consider only four new releases a week to be pretty damn slack. They're cute tho and a ton of stuff in the works. Okies will get to it!



I was actually watching "Cabaret" on Netflix while I made this set..I had this cute hair I found on a japanese sim and it all came together. It's a little Lolli, a little 30's and a little "waitress" as a friend so kyootly put it lol. You get a prim skirt with skull buckle and big sculpted bustle bow, a white pinstriped top with velvet corset attached, a sculpted collar with neck bow and fishnets with garter and panties and stripey long socks. It's a big set and so adorable!



Anyone that's a Buffy fan will get this kinda obscure reference (we're rewatching season 3 atm lol) I loved the outfit that Jenny was killed in but the system skirt just didnt work for it, I tried I swear. So doing the sheer overlay babydoll over a bodysuit was the next best option. I did it in three colors, blue, green and purple (Jewel Tones are my fave) and these mix great for different color combos. The sheer jacket layer and skirt also look great over a bikini or with jeans. I shortened the top and just wore that yesterday...well I had pants on lol



I've been throwing around thoughts of making a Kimono since making Hong Kong Garden a few months ago and I got inspired rolling around on a unicycle on several Japanese sims with Roblem the other day and bucked down. I knew I wanted a darker, more gothic look so I went with a metallic diamond fabric and purple as the contrast. It's called "Midnight Maiko" and comes with the wrapped obi, three different skirt types, flexy sleeves and the geta sandals.


I've been tossing around some more shoe ideas and got this neat little sculpted bow so I made some girly skully stilettos I named "Living Dead Shoes" The bows are texture change with 12 textures, several solids, a black and red stripe, cheetah, skulls, plaids& white lace. these are veryyy sweet, perfect dolly shoes but a little more grown up and feminine.

Thats it for now, but as I said...I have a lot of things half finished so next week should be funnn. Next post is an announcement and a tiny rant..just a teeeeny tiny one promise.

Ha, I just love that title...thanks to Mad for that. If I wanna offend a huge group of people, he's the Go-To Guy. We've done some rearranging in the store (well my manager has) and I hope it makes more sense and finding things is easier. Look up cause there are some things high on both walls and all body items, accessories and lingerie, bathing suits and stockings have moved to the upper platform. The goth things have been moved to the Hunger Store next door! Okies here we go....


I wanted some cute tops to go with the "Crazy Little Skirts" and had Maryann from Gilligans Island in my mind when I did these Bandana Halters. They come in five colors and are packed up with the skirts that are also jean shorts. The skirts have two different prim options...flared and flexi flouncy. I was gonna call it Maryanne, but "Scooter Trash" had a more Sn@tchly ring to it lol





This is prolly my fave thing this week (I always know my fave thing cause I'm wearing it for days after I make it) My manager Xandra sent me a pic of a goth chick wearing ruffled bloomers as pants and I was like yaa wtf not? So I went to work. Made white and black bloomers in two layers and two lengths. They're definitely outerwear, but some guys really like old fashioned lingerie in the bedroom. It makes them think you're virginal, go figure lol



Also did a set with the long bloomers called "Libertine and mixed em with a velvet corset and lace scarf tops. These go really great with the tops from "Where the Boys Are" too, with the Peasant Tops or with bikini tops.




After the success of the latex leggings I released last month..the models have been hounding me to make full length spandex pants so I went to work on it. Here's the result I dunno why I called em this, but I have this bumper sticker on my car and it sounded good at the time lol. The "Spank Me Like You Mean It" Spandex pants come in two seperate packs 8 shades of light and 8 of dark all with sculpted ankle wrinkles

Thats it for me. I have lots more coming this week, some super smexy vests, a hot 'lil kimono set and some death lolli pretties. More shoes and hair otw too and very soon, [METHOD] our new furniture and pre-fab venture will be open for business. Whew...I'm glad I dont have a RL job -pants-

Offending SL....One Av at a Time

I'm getting back on the proverbial roll again and have a lot on my list, so to facilitate actual work, I'm gonna blog quickly. I hope you like! I seem to be concentrating on the bottom half of my avatar for a change lol



I'm back on the shoe kick, These are too cute I think. Been wanting to do some stripper shoes and the gems just worked. Ultra tall platforms with not quite stilleto heels...only one color for now (black duh) but the gems are texture change on click! "5 Dollah Lapdance" and they'd be perfect for the pole....wayy sexy on



I did some in denim too since the big thing in the mags for fall seems to be pencil thin jeans. I called them Bardot...they're very slim and sexy and make your legs look extra long. The "Bardot Pencil Jeans" come in four different shades including black with sculpted wrinkled cuffs



A good friend requested a few new colors for the 'Die My Darling" Gown so I did the gothy classics. Already had red so did them in black and purple. Both gorgeous and elegant and veryyy sexy. They're available now in the Sn@tch main store on the new release wall and the Hunger store right next door.

Ok this is the big one. Sn@tch goes neko. This has to be the sexiest neko set you'll find for so cheap in SL. Kitteh Paw Feet, Scripted ears and tails in four colors. Buy as a set or seperately. The ears twitch randomly with a simple on/off click and the tails are menu driven and mod so you can put in whatever you want it to say when someone touches, bites, strokes or pets your tail. It also has three activity modes including Frisky, Active and Lazy, If you ever wanted to be a sexeh kitten, this is the one for you! I havent even advertised yet and they are flying off the prim shelves.

I did em in four colors for now, more to come when I get some requests.

These were just put out this morning, sweeet hot little Elvish ears with some ear jewelry. They are menu driven with 12 skin tones on click and are mod so you can tint til you get just the right shade. I wont be taking these off for awhile I know lol

Come by the store before Midnight SLT on friday and get a cute little freebie I put out made out of random peices. A full outfit called "Scotty Doesn't Know" a little homage to the movie Eurotrip and dedicated to Mylie Cyrus lol. It's not hidden, out in a vendor right next to the couch by the model stands. You get a black lace and satin bra, a wifebeater, a cardigan sweater, prim plaid skirt (sans glitchpants) and red sheer kneesocks. It's way kyoot!

Ohhh btw almost forgot, a lot of people have been asking where the skin and tattoo in the Black Kitteh Set came from. The skin is "Black Panther" by Nomine (lustsss) and the Tatt is by my fave Garden of Ku...it's called "Niu Kua"

Heyaa all..I'm doing as I promised and trying to keep up with the blog and new releases a little better. It's been a prim-tastic week at Sn@tch and the accessories are just flying off as fast as I can make em. I'll get back to clothes ultra soon tho, promise promise. Here's whats new in two posts cause I hate that "after the cut" thingie...



First thing is something I called "Sparklemotion" a little homage to Donnie Darko if any of you are familiar with it. It's the pre-teen dance team that gets molested by Patrick Swayze LOL it's 8 sparkly star girlie tees with two shades of khaki shorts. The prim pockets are texture change on click to match all the shirt colors and it comes with some over the knee white knit socks. Very cute!



Keeping on the shorts kick, I made more suede. These are sexy belted and pretty short. Multiple colors and a couple different leather colors on the belts. Really cheap for the whole pack. These go with everything! I called em "Sultry"



The"Raggedy Socks" have been a long time coming and I have no idea why I didn't do these already. Thick wide stripes, 10 colors and all tintable so you can get the perfect shade for whatever you wear them with, tho they do go great with the Sultry Shorts -wink-



I did some more prim work this week..another ankh with texture change jewels and a sculpted leather thong. And I released the Jeweled Satin Cuffs from the Murder Ballet set by themselves cause I got a lot of requests so here ya go! Both of these items have 12 jewel textures you can change with a click.

I'm Baaaaack...

Heyyy all! Vacation was soooo nice, but I can't even explain how hard it was to log in and not be working. I realised if I'm not making something SL can be kinda boring for me lol. I did a lottt of shopping and built the new furniture store on pulse. Roblem and I will be starting a Prefab and furniture store called METHOD berry berry soon. it's a neat looking spot and we're planning on doing some things that are a little harder to come by in SL. More news on that soon!

What I wanted to talk about today is PRIDE. The SL Second Pride Festival started yesterday morning with a bang...literally almost immediately it was hit by a griefer, but security was on it and the parade went off great! Tons of events all week at the sims and some really amazing exhibits including builds by the Inspire Space Park people on the Osmium sim, tons of shopping on Rhoduim, and Iridium. A huge theme park section with monorail rides and please please dont forget to visit the Aids Quilt exhibit. It'll really blow you away. A very good friend of mine Michael passed away two years ago from complications of HIV and it blows me away that they arent any further along in research to find a cure. With such an emphasis the past few years on cancer, it seems HIV/Aids has been pushed to the side and it's not IN anymore. Please give as much as you can at any of the kiosks around the festival. Every linden helps!

What I'd like to say about pride, the word pride and its meaning to me. There are a few definitions of pride in the dictionary. One being a high or inordinate opinion of one's own dignity, importance, merit, or superiority, whether as cherished in the mind or as displayed in bearing, conduct, etc. and the one that really stands out for me and I think is my definition of the word...pleasure or satisfaction taken in something done by or belonging to oneself or believed to reflect credit upon oneself. I've never understood how people could be take pride in something they had nothing to do with or no effect on...like their race or color or local sports team, whatever. When I think of being proud of something, I think of my accomplishments, the things I've done or built, the kind of person I am and the pride I have in that. I'm proud of what I've made, proud of my home, my business, proud of the friends I've made. I think pride in general to me means whoever you are you should be proud of how far you have come so far as a human being. Just being a part of this world and doing what you can to make it better for the ones that come after.

So saying that...we all have a place in this world no matter your race, age, sex, religion, sexual orientation. There's good and bad in everyone and really thats the only thing we have any control over and can be proud of. As for drama, I don't do it. Life is way to short and ban & mute work really well. So as I've said before...be whatever you want to be, do things you could never do or would never dare to do. Explore, create, dance, play and enjoy every moment being exactly who you are and screw anyone who tells you you should be anything else.

Thats all I gotta say about that!

Hair is a LOT harder than it looks!

Ok Hair...I gave it a go. I wanted to do a big truck stop diner waitress wig and I think I accomplished that lol. Made mostly of sculpted pieces with some flexy in the back for movement, "Mabel" comes in 6 colors and a demo is available so give our homemade pie a whirl! I know I'll have more coming soon. Several designs planned including long bouncy pigtails, bushy mohawks and gothic styles. There's just not enough Bettie Page bangs out there for me!

I think this is my fave this week. I been feeling casual and with the new sim I needed work pants so I did some basic khakis. These are completely unisex even though the tops arent but all clothes at Sn@tch are trans so you can give them away if you dont want girl parts shading lol. The Khakis come in four shades and two layers for tucking in boots and I threw in a torn and bloody wifebeater and a plain white one as well. A "Gun Bunny" is an Artillary man in the service, but the name was so cute I stole it lol

This little dress is all attitude. It says "Back the hell up...You Don't Own Me"! Simple, narrow plaid in four deep colors with laced short mini and ruffled neckline. It comes with sheer textured kneesocks and little sculpted bows. Love this...and its an in-store model fave and veryyy hot!

Ok some of you may remember a lil freebie I put out at the beginning of the year called "Granny's Bones". It was a kinda big hit in the blogs and I only had it out for a few days then it disappeared. The problem was it was only one layer. You couldnt wear seperate pieces like the sweater and belt and skirts. Well I redid it finally and now its as versitile as it gets. All different layers and pieces. The dress can be worn so many different ways, with sculpted sleeves, with our without belt or sweater and with three different skirt options. This one also comes with kneesocks with sculpted skull bows. Funnn...I missed this dress!

The Sari skirts were sooo preeeeety, course you know me I had to do colors. So I did 10 Colors including some brights...btw the pants with the V-Brocade Front look great without the skirt too! I also did two silver brocade bandeau tops in light and dark to compliment different skirts. Called this one "Unwrapped" cause well the scarf part is missing from the Sari. a more modern take on the classic look!

After much pressure, I finally succumbed (no you pervs not what you're thinking). I did pedicures! 25 painted toenails in frosts, mattes and a few goth styles. These make even Linden Flipper Feet look good. I packed em up all in one big fat vendor together at a really nice price and they are tintable so you can get any color you want exactly. Hope you enjoy Fallacy! hehe

This was either gonna be called Playboy Billionaire or "Eccentric Recluse". I chose the latter, but I didnt make kleenex boxes for the feet sadly. It's three color Smoking Jackets with with prim flexy tie belt and coordinating silk Pajama Pants. Loungyyyyyy...

Ok hawt...new...here 'tis!



We'll start with the Boys cause they never get shit. I made an outfit called (somewhat tongue in cheek) "BONER" lol you guys know me by now. It's two versions of the top, a white long sleeved pinstriped buttondown and one with a skully V Neck Sweater vest over it and longer tails. It comes with black suede pants with a braided belt and silver buckle. A hot slightly dressy but still cool look for not much Ls!





I decided to go ahead and make multiple colors of the Shirts and Pants from the Boner set so I did the "Mr Goodbar Silk Shirts" and the "Two Lane Blacktop Suede Pants" A buncha colors and the pants come with mixed brown and black belts. These are way hot and the pants are absolutely unisex, so chicas, these are for you too!






This set is soooo fun. Murder Ballet is a bodysuit in textured and sweetly shaded black (surprise) with lace trim and is great on it's own, paired with jeans or skirts. I put it together with a flouncy black feather Tutu, tintable leggings and long gloves and some really adorable prim cuffs and a tiara that are covered in texture changing gems. The cuffs were inspired by a pair I saw at Armani. Just click them and you have a choice of 12 gem textures. I wore this for three days straight after I made it lol



Of any of the world religions the one I find most beautiful and balanced is Hinduism with it's host of Deities or "Devas". The images of these are so glorious and I used them to decorate these cropped long sleeved tops with modern designs. Six Deities are represented...Kali, Shiva, Lakshmi, Vishnu, Ganesh and Tara and the tops come with a full length Silk Sari skirt and pants all at a very affordable price.



People have been bugging me for months to make a bottom for the "Forever Tattoo" and I finally got down to business and did one. Also did some hand tatts to go with and a manicure in black polish is included.

YAY Vacation Starts today!

I thought I'd go ahead and get some newest release bloggage out of the way before I spend the next week relaxing and working on our new sim. Yeps, we got a second sim right next to Pulse called Asylum. It's gonna be all residential and I finally get to build my dream house and not be so limited on prims and space. We also get to start to work on a new business Roblem and I have been planning for awhile doing some unusual prefabs and furniture so that's really exciting. Ok nuff about me, lets get caught up on the past few week's new releases. Ohh if you get a chance, go and check out my newest large satellite store on Lemon Island, right next to the new Bewitched Store and the shops @ AsPire Isle. It's a gorgeous place with some great designers (including me -winks-)

I made this pretty texture from a woodcut image I found and put together a dress I had an idea for last month and I call it "Dragonflies". This is much dressier than things I usually do but its fun and kyoot and very summery. A gathered black silk bodice with knotted ties and scarf in the front and a full babydoll skirt. It comes in 6 colors you can buy seperately or all of em in a fat pack with black latex teggings and prim cuffs. It also includes metal and glass dragonfly bangles.

I did some latex leggings in a fat pack for cheap cheap. You get 10 colors including pearl, silver and charcoal which tint really well to any color you want. The ankle wrinkles are sculpted only two prims each. I made these cause I got some really cute shoes with prim toes and I cant wear stockings with them lol I havent taken em off since I made em!

I was planning on making a sexy secretary outfit but I thought I should make these in multiple colors instead and just offer fat packs at a really good price. I did some reallllly low cut buttondown dress shirts with sculpted collar and cuffs and a set of five teeny flexi mini skirts in sorta preppy patterns like tweed and houndstooth since everyone seems to love not wearing glitch pants. Better wear panties with these though unless you wanna show some cha cha! The kyoot updo and hair sticks in these ads are from Philotic Energy...SOON to be released so get in line!

I finally made an ankh necklace for the Hunger and I'm so proud of how it came out. It's simple, elegant with a tiny chain and a severe point. A deep blood red ruby in the center. I call it The Eye of Isis. Earrings and other pieces coming soon.

Coming up with a name for these was a bitchhh...I was so brain dead and completely out of adjectives so when Roblem suggested "Ho Straps" I said yes, fuck it, we'll go with that. These are completely unisex tho and I know a lotta guy hos lol. Four arm straps in texture grommeted leather. Only 12 prims each and not hugely chunky like most arm bands.
